Instead, you can allow us to deal with these four separate companies and make all of the arrangements for you, saving you time and money.
Additionally, many suppliers in the United States are hesitant to deal with an overseas company as they see the transaction as risky and more costly to them to transact; they often are also unsure how to ship the goods overseas. Shipping and Transportation
We can handle all of your shipping needs and can send merchandise via ocean freight, air freight, or courier services. We can also handle hazardous material shipments and provide dangerous goods documents. We consolidate our orders and make weekly shipments.
If you have bought something on your own directly and the supplier is not sure how to ship it, we will make arrangements to get it shipped to you. We have numerous shipping services at our disposal and will intervene with the supplier on your behalf to get your purchase moving and to your door. For example, we recently moved 2000 pounds of construction merchandise from Colombia to Trinidad via air freight through Miami.
For extreme emergencies, we can also provide travel services for the hand delivery of parts that are crucial to the running operation of a client’s plant.
Accidents happen and cargo insurance offers peace of mind.
For shipments of new commercial merchandise carried by approved ocean carriers, “All Risk” cargo coverage with no deductible is available.
Coverage commences from the time goods leave the shipper and/or supplier’s place of business and continues in force during the ordinary and customary course of transit to the final destination. Cargo is protected against “All Risk” of physical loss or damage from any external cause irrespective of percentage of loss.
Insurance remains in force for 15 days after vessel discharge or delivery, whichever occurs first. Concealed damage must be reported within 3 days of delivery, excluding weekends and holidays.
***Regarding your Insurance Coverage: Once you take delivery of your cargo please inspect and report any shortages or damages to our offices immediately. Concealed damage must be reported within three (3) business days of delivery.***
Specific terms and conditions apply to certain commodities.
Live plants and perishables must be carried in refrigerated containers.
Approval is necessary to be able to insure used commodities and out of gauge cargo.
Please note that certain commodities are excluded from coverage or may be only eligible to be covered against specific named perils.
We respond immediately to emergencies. For example, if a brewery contacts us to report that a conveyor belt has broken, we understand the importance of getting that conveyor up and running, so we will drop everything to focus on finding that part and getting it on a plane the same day if possible. Your emergency becomes our top priority.
After Sales Services
After you have made your purchase and have received it, we can still help meet your needs. For example, we offer warranty repair of equipment, meaning that you can return a product, if defective, and we will return it to the factory on your behalf. We can also provide technicians, mechanics, surveyors, and others to our clients depending on their needs.
